“The Secret of Red Gate,” a small town’s experience of strange events, produced by Jim Marrs. Lots of people respect Jim Marrs,
but I thought this was a “hoky” production.

Wed, Feb 6: “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,” a compilation of all six episodes of the BBC’s acclaimed 1981 adaptation of Douglas Adams’ best-selling sci-fi fantasy masterpiece. 194 minutes.

Tues, Feb 12: Jean Eisenhower read selections from her new book:
RattleSnake Fire: a memoir of extra-dimensional experience,

Following the reading, “Forest for the Trees: Judi Bari v. the FBI”
about the 2002 history-making trial for which Jean did media work, and in which the FBI was found guilty of numerous crimes related to a car-bomb assassination attempt on a non-violent forest activist.
Events at the trial open Jean’s book,
and open the question of how high-tech psychological operations
may cloud the mystery of alien contact.
